FreebieForce has alerted me to a few free things in the last few days. Nothing that I couldn’t do without, but these things were easy enough to get, as I just had to fill out some free forms. These things include: Star Wars Betrayal audio book, Grand Theft Auto 2 for PC video game, free toothpaste.
Here’s one that I might do soon: Free 25,000 miles for spending $1,000 on American Express card.
It’s neat to get these free things on a regular basis.

This is not really a big deal since it is free to everyone anyway, but I wouldn’t have known about it if I didn’t learn it from FreebieForce. I downloaded a free copy of Microsoft Accounting Express. Will I use it? I don’t know, I might. I do need some kind of accounting software, as it has been something that I have been putting off far too long.
The features of Microsoft Accounting Express are core accounting, including general ledger, A/R, A/P, invoicing, bill payments and online banking; integration with Microsoft Word, Excel and Oulook; integration with add-on services for payroll, credit card processing, eBay and many others; a resource center for assistance; and 30 reports.
Of course there are professional editions of this software also. They start at $99.95 and go up from there.
So I’ll check it out, but it’s not something I was really searching for. I guess that’s one of the nice benefits of FreebieForce — it let’s me easily try things that I normally would not have even thought about otherwise.

Right now Target is running a “Spend $50 on furniture and get free shipping” deal. Also, if you use the following code, you will get another $5 - $50 off of your purchase: TC2B4H5D
Note: I just noticed that it’s not just furniture, it looks like if you spend $50 on just about anything you get free shipping. Check the web site, www.target.com, for details.

In the past couple of days I signed up on a web site where I’ll get one free credit score check (not credit report, actual credit score) per month, a $10 gift card for Amazon.com, and a free data recovery software application worth $90.
The free credit score check, which does an inquiry that does not affect your credit, is pretty cool, but it doesn’t give the exact number. It gives numbers that your credit score falls between. For example: 760+, 720 - 759, 680 - 719, etc… I get my exact credit score once a quarter through my credit union, so I actually find that more useful.
The $10 gift card from Amazon will actually be cool because I purchase from Amazon quite regularly. The data recovery software is cool, but it’s not something that I would have bought so I don’t consider that a savings, really.
I still haven’t signed up for the new checking account at Chase for a free flight and free money, but I plan to do that this upcoming week, so I’ll keep you posted.

Today, FreebieForce announced their new web browser toolbar on FreebieForceToday.com. It looks like it’s a decent idea but I don’t know if I’ll use it for a couple of reasons.
For one, one of the big reasons that I use the Google Toolbar is so that I can see Google PageRank on all of my own web sites and web sites that I’m browsing. I’m sure that won’t be implemented into the FreebieForce toolbar. Number two, that scrolling advertisement about the freebie of the day looks really annoying. Hopefully, it can be turned off. If not, I definitely would not use it.
I know I could have both the FreebieForce toolbar and the Google toolbar at the same time, but that kind of defeats the purpose and also it takes up valuable internet viewing real-estate.
Anyway, I think it’s a good thing otherwise and I’m sure lots of people will use it.

OK, this one is a little more complicated, but it will be worth it because of all of the money and free perks that I will earn.
I have already made $200 from Chase bank because of an earlier deal, and I am going to make $150 more from them through another offer. Now, I just learned (through FreebieForce) of yet another deal from them. I can make $100.00 and a free flight with each new checking account that I open. Notice, you can open up to five checking accounts with Chase.
This offer will allow me to make $100 per checking account, 20,000 flyer miles, and an opportunity to collect another 7,500 miles with just a little help from friends. This one is going to take a little time to do, but I’ll write more about it in another post.

I took advantage of several products today. I signed up for a free cup of Dunkin Donuts Coffee, free Colgate Whitening toothpaste, free bottle of Vaseline Intesive Care lotion, $5 gift card to Starbucks, bottle of Coke Zero and $5 gift card from Sears.
I kid you not, I only signed up for maybe 1 out of every 15 offers that are on the site. I’m just not interested in some of them, and others I will do later, I just tried to pick the ones I know I can use right away first. There are a few electronics that I want to go after next, I think.

This a great deal I just noticed on Amazon. It’s a Palm Treo 750 from AT&T for only one penny after rebate with service plan. I’d do it, but I just did one a couple of months ago. I ended up paying $25.00 after rebate, but wow, I almost wish I would have waited. But I love my Treo!
